Prospecting Hub - Engaged

Hello! Does anyone know how "engaged" leads are defined within the prospecting hub? Is this "Last Engagement Date" or more nuanced for the Prospecting Dashboard?

If nuanced, how do we report on it?

Hi @MBarton00,

The "Contact last engagement type" is defined as:

The last time a contact engaged with your site or a form, document, meetings link, or tracked email. This doesn't include marketing emails or emails to multiple contacts.

While it's not spelled out, I would interpret this as:

Page views
Form submissions
Document views
Meeting link submissions
Sales email opens, clicks, replies

If you want to report on this, I'd recommend creating a report for the count of leads based on the "Contact last engagement type" – this will give an overview of the types.

Where exactly are you seeing the "engaged" bit in the prospecting space? Generally speaking "engaged" means the contact/prospect has done something rather than your sales reps having engaged/contacted the lead.

@karstenkoehler - in prospecting hub, there is an "engaged lead" list. I'm trying to identify which property(ies) determine that list and potentially replicate that logic to drive task creation. I ran a report based on the Contact level's Last Engagement Date for a 6 day period (the oldest date on the prospecting list) and that appears to be a different number. Just trying to narrow in on the criteria for that list.

@MBarton00 thank you - instead of the contact last engagement date, which discrepancy are you seeing for the overall last engagement date on the lead index page? This is what the list should be pulling. You might have leads without contacts or without logged activities to contacts.
