Product catalog in multiple language

Hi Hupspotters!

We are starting to use hubspot for Quotes, hence our product "line items" from the catalog are used within the quotes.

I can not find a way to have the product name and description in multiple languages ? is the only way to do that to duplicate all products / SKUs for each language ?

Hey @MDubuc

As of now, this is not possible to add the product name and line items in different languages so you need to create the products and line Items as per the language you have selected in your HubSpot account.

We have an quote automation app for HubSpot called Portant. It it will give you more control over content and appearance of your quote than HubSpot's native quote tool because you can design your templates in Google Docs or Slides.

We have an AI feature that you could use to automatically translate any HubSpot property in your quote, which could be a good solution for what you're looking for.

I am looking for the same solution... i cannot believe Hubspot is not supporting multilanguage feature in product catalogs...

Just upping this because it's cra-zy that you cannot have products in different languages to add to your line items. Many companies quote in multiple countries.

This means we have to create each product 3 seperate times for our business. Running analysis on this will be terrible too.

@hubspot Is this on the roadmap? We may need to consider a new CRM if not. We really enjoy the HubSpot platform, but this could be the deal breaker that sends back to a competitior.

We definitely hear you on the need for the ability to utilize a multiple language functionality in the descriptions of line items. While I'm not aware of any roadmap for this feature, I'd highly recommend posting this idea in our Ideas Forum. This would allow other users to upvote your idea, expand on it, and directly loop in our Product Team on the conversation.
