Doing it that way will still create duplicates if multiple contacts from same company joined the meeting.

Double Counting Meetings??

Using the sales analytics section of HubSpot I am reporting on one of our sales agents mettings.

We have the Call & Meeting Types set up.

I have the Meeting Types as 'Client Meeting' or 'Partner Meeting'

I am producing a report which shows the meetings held in the month with the clients/partners. Listing out the meetings types and the clients as a list but it double counts the meetings where it involves two companys.

We have a partner and a client, and occasionally the partner will sit in on a client meeting.

See screen shot I have popped these as P or C

At a top level, I can see he has had 9 Client meetings in the month - but the report shows 10 meetings as it has double counted the meeting which involved two organisations.

This report needs to filter out the partners but in the drop downs the 'associated' company is greyed out so i cant remove the partners.

There is a lead source drop down - where it would be easy for me to exclude 'partners' but the list displayed is not one I have created or that i can find or get to in Hubspot.

Its headed under Enagement - Source

Can someone tell me where I find this particular list. I would like to edit it, include 'Partner' in the selection - and then confirm where I can get to this field to complete against the relevant partner companies. I can then use this fields to filter the data properly.

I have included some screen shots

Thanks,

Hayley

Hi @HVirciglio, I hope that you are well!

Thank you for the detailed post on the Community, I love to see this!

From what I can see on the screenshot, it seems that in the Data Source, you are using the companies data. Please let me know if that's not the case.

Could you please try using only 1 data source, which would then be, contacts only.

Because, since there are associated companies displaying, that is why, the meetings appear several times.
The meeting is logged on the contact record and on the associated companies records I suspect. Therefore it appears on all of the associated companies.

Can you please give it a go and see if this solves the duplicates?

I'd like to ask some of our Top Experts about this: Hi @Josh, @GRajput and @deepikaverma do you have suggestions to help @HVirciglio, please?

Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂

Thanks a lot 🌟 and have a lovely day!

Best,
Bérangère
