Automatically create quote when deal is moved to new deal stage

Hi!

I wanted to create a workflow that automatically creates a new quote when a deal is moved from any stage to another specific stage in the pipeline.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hi @NVejby,

Automated quote creation is currently neither supported in workflows nor via API (at least not yet).

As a workaround, you could however notify the deal owner with an internal email or a task about the change in deal stage. They could then manually create the quote.

Are there any integrations that can make this happen yet? This is easily done in Salesforce with Apptus. This would save an immense amount of time for renewals teams.

Hi @NVejby, I actually work for an invoicing software company that allows you to do this sort of thing. It’s called Paycove, and it integrates with HubSpot. You can use it to create custom workflows and generate, send, and manage quotes/invoices. It also integrates with accounting software like Xero, and the payment gateway Stripe.

So its purpose is to essentially interconnect all the pieces of managing your business online: the CRM, the accounting software, and the payment component. It can automate quite a bit and make things easier and more streamlined for you.

It's been more then three years now, two without an update.
Why is this so difficult to archive? Other objects are far more advanced and it is still possible.
There is no way to scale quote creation without this possibility.
Any updates on expected release dates?

I encountered the same issue regarding automatic quote creation upon deal stage changes. I believe I've found a solution using a new HubSpot app called AutoQuote.
