Dashboard for time past from one pipeline to another one

In my sales department we work with two different pipelines, the first one is Sales pipeline and then at a certain point the deals are moved to an Implementation pipeline. I need to create a dashboard that shows how much time it takes from when we create a deal until the deal is moved to Implementation pipeline. Can we do that?

Hi @MannyOseguera,

Generally, it's not recommended to move deals between pipelines as that will remove some of the information that HubSpot is automatically tracking for time spent in stages, entered stage dates etc.

If you instead created a new deal for each closed won sales pipeline deal (and associated the two deals with each other), you could simply look at the "Days to close" deal property - assuming that there typically is not a big discrepancy between the close date and the date of moving the deal to the implementation pipeline.

If creating a new deal is not an option (again, not recommended), then you would have to do the following things:

Create a custom deal date property (e.g. "Implementation start date")
Create a calculation property to calculate the time between create date and the property from step 1: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/create-calculation-properties

You then have a property you can use in reports and which effectively works like the "Days to close", only across pipelines.
