I am trying to build a report, that shows how we perform vs budget for billede revenue in an accounting year.

I have entered monthly revenue targets in goal objective.

We are creating deals - based on line items wit a start billing date.

I would now like to see the revenue from all deals/ line items - that falls into i.e. 2024. And then see that compated to goal.

How do I do that? (we are using Sales Pro)

Hey @PeterFrolund, Happy Friday!

You can start by accessing the reporting section and setting the time frame for the accounting year (e.g., 2024). Apply a filter to include deals/line items with billing dates falling within 2024. Generate a revenue report to display billed revenue for the entire year.

I want to invite our top experts, @Lucila-Andimol, @Josh, and @HFisher7 any recommendations for the @PeterFrolund matter?

Thank you,

Hi Pam,

thank you for getting back to me.

Setting accountung year - done.

But how would I create a filter with deals/line items - only included if billing date i.e. in 2024?

So - if I have a deal 10K a month - billing date starts Nov 1 - then only 2 * 10K = 20K should be included. With 10K each of those two monhts compared to the revenue target for the same two months.

Hope, that makes sense.

Br

Peter

Hey @PeterFrolund

hope you are doing good!

So recurring revenue features in HubSpot are available in Enterprise licences if you are willing to evalute this.

To keep working this with HubSpot you can create deals for each month from the starting date to the contract end date. (manually or with automations)

the second thing is to setup the sales goals (if you haven't done this yet see here)

And last you can try this standard Reports to see how you are going compared to the goal

 Hope this helps
