Pull data from report and send notification hourly

Hello,

If anyone knows how to make this work or has a better idea of how to make this happen please advise. We have a custom report showing the Total Value of customer orders placed in the Proccessing Stage of our Ecommerce Pipline. (basically, it's a running total of revenue for the day)

I need to send this Total Value of Orders calculation out in notifications every few hours. Preferably via text or mobile app notification (if possible).

I've looked at custom-coded workflows to keep a running total of orders along with API calls that would return the report's data, but I have not found any solution that works thus far.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @matt72,

Would a recurring email or Slack message be sufficient?
Because you can schedule multiple emails/messages for the same report.

Thanks for your help. I have been able to make this work with the recurring email. Unfortunately, the requesting parties are looking for a text or app notification if possible.

Hi @matt72 ,

If it has to be text, you could use a scheduled worklow to do this if you have OperationsHub Professional or higher. You'll just need to add an SMS Sending app from the Marketplace.

I don't think you'll be able to get this done natively without OperationsHub.
