Can you 'lock' Dashboard Filters (BETA)

I've created some dashboards (each filtered by Company) for my team to use, but when they view the dashboards, they have to update the filters themselves to make sure it pulls information for the specified Company.

Is there a way that I can filter the dashboards, and then 'lock' the filters so that they apply to all viewers of the dashboard?

The team still need to be able to make changes to the dashboards, so the View Only option won't work here. And I'm also not sure if the View Only option for the dashboard would hold the filtering anyway.

Any advice/tips appreciated

Yes @SamKidby

when you apply filters to your dashboard same saved filters will be available to your teams and they can change them at any time filters will remain unchanged until anyone from your team update or change the filters.

Hi @SamKidby,

If you're referring to these filters...

... then no, it's currently not possible to have default filters for other users. You can pin "Quick filters" (see "Company name" in my screenshot) and these will be available for all users by default.

But what exactly is being filtered will not carry over to other users.

(If you have filters that should apply to all other users, you could consider applying them to the reports directly.)

In any case, I can see how this would be useful and you could provide this feedback to the product team. In the bottom left corner, you should see this:

Click the button and submit your feedback, explaining in detail why you're looking for this functionality.

Strange, this is typically included. Well then, you can find the product manager who's working on this in the Product updates:

Hover your mouse over their profile image and you should see their email address. (I don't want to share it publicly in the community for obvious reasons.)

Thank you for the suggestion, but I don't have that view... this is how my screen shows:

We're having a lot of issues with dashboard filters randomly dropping off for users. Would be great to talk to someone about this.
