Thsi helps a lot but which object would be better for that? For the close date I have more trust on the Deal (check them manually myself), on the company I see threre are discrepancies. But it's the company that has the lead status = exclient, same as the contact but there can be multiple contacts on one company. How to best approach this?

How can I create a report showing the number of months a client was a paying customer so from the time a deal was closed won to the time they received exclient status.

I want to break it down by their original source as well but that seams to be pretty stright forward. Do not know how to the first part though. Maybe with a calculateed field by I have not used those before.

Thanks!

Hi @KubaNowakowski,

To achieve this, you would have to have two dates: the close date and the date when the status is set to ex-client. Both fields need to be on the same object. You can then create a calculation property to calculate the time between: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/create-calculation-properties

For the ex-client date property, I replied to you here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Dashboards-Reporting/Report-with-ExClients-that-left-particular-quarter/m-p/860100#M8503

Have a great day!

The company object is better suited. I would perform the calculation there.
