Thanks Josh!

Indeed, filtering enables to focus on live deals only. That being said, it would make sense to me to stop reporting further contacts to a closed deal (to avoid having new activities being added which makes harder to keep track of the latest exchange before the closing, or to avoid having last modified date datestamp being updated). Perhaps there isn't any simple way to do that in Hubspot...

Thanks again,

Denis

Hello all,

I am looking for a way to stop associating activities to a closed deal. Indeed, when we lost a deal for some reason I would like not to report further activities related to deal's associated contact or companies but Hubspot keeps feeding the close deal with latest contact / email / meetings. This leads to new activities associated to a closed deal which does not make sense to us.

Many thanks to all in advance.

Denis

Hi @Dlafarge,

I would recommend that you apply filters to your reports that exclude deals that are in the closed-lost stage.

Hi Josh, your response doesn't really provide a solution for the above question.

I am looking to do the same thing - is there a setting to stop associating activity to a deal when its closed? (won or lost)

Thanks in advance

I agree. There will be scenarios where a customer returns and is associated with a new deal. Keeping the conversations for old and new deals separate would be optimal.

Best regards
Thomas
