Track existing contacts who have taken actions

Hi,

I'm trying to create a custom report for all the contacts influenced by marketing activities and subsequently associated with a deal.

I would like to determine whether, after engaging with the campaign, they proceeded to view additional pages on our website or, alternatively, opened another deal following the campaign's interaction.

1. Contacts already associated with a deal and engage with our campaign and create another deal.

2. Contacts created from a non-marketing source and then engage with our campaign and they created a deal after it.

@SZackoota have you tried using Custom Journey Reports?

If you go to Analytics Tools, you'll find it here. It allows you to select all the different touch points you want to see in sequence and give you the conversion rates/number of people converted for each step. You can also create custom events to track things that are not readily available.

I do know that it will be difficult to apply a filter here to see contacts created from non-marketing sources only, so the Custom Journey Report may not deliver the data exactly how you will want it. You could look at setting up a custom behavioural event to track these contacts, however, if they are coming from offline sources this won't work.

Alternatively, I'd suggest you look at creating a custom attribution report. This will allow you to filter the interaction source, and by deal type!
