Property History Report?

When I go into any given deal I can open up property history that shows every modification that's been made to a given deal, so Hubspot is clearly tracking this data. What I would love is a way to run a report that shows any changes that were made to any deal in a set period of time.

I.e. if in the last seven days Deal A closed and Deal B was lost, I would love to see a report that lists that those stages were changed and what they were before. In an ideal world, I could even filter it further if I only wanted to see changes to stage or any other property.

All of the data is clearly stored in Hubspot, what is preventing us from compiling it?

Hi @TWright3,

Some of that information is only available through property history, that's correct. However HubSpot seems to be continually adding new reports and with a Professional subscription, you should have access to Sales analytics.

Navigate to Menu > Reports > Analytics tools > Sales analytics. In the left sidebar under Forecasts & Pipelines you should see Deal change history (don't forget that you can click the chart bars for more details!) and Historical snapshots.

Hi @karstenkoehler,

How about if I want to see who changed a close date, when did they change it, and what the original and new value is? Essentially a property history report like @TWright3 mentioned.
Thanks! It would be really helpful after I send an email to ask sales to update past close dates on their deals if I could see in real time when my reps actually make the changes and who's doing it.

Unfortunately the reports under sales analytics don't provide us with any flexibility on editing which history we want to look at. For example, I wanted to see what stages the opportunity went through before moving to closed lost, I see this is captured in property history for any deal, however, I am not able to run a report on this information.
The sales analytics is pre defined and doesn't allow me to change any parameters.

Couple years back but if you're still hitting this, or anyone's landing here from search:

Native HubSpot has partial coverage for what you described that's worth knowing about. The Sales Analytics > Deal change history report (Menu > Reports > Analytics tools > Sales analytics > Forecasts & Pipelines) gives some of this, though it's rigid on what you can view. For stage-specific reporting, you can build a custom Single Object report on Deals using "Entered Stage Date is in the last 7 days," which gets you the deals that hit a stage in a date range, just without prior values directly.

What's still missing natively is the flexible "any property, with prior value, across records, filtered by date" reporting you described.

I haven't built that cross-record reporting layer either, but I have built Property Pulse for the per-record version of this pain: a card on the deal that centralizes the change log for every tracked property with prior and current values, who changed it, source (CRM UI, integration, workflow, import), filterable by date and source, exportable. So when you've already identified the deals you care about (via Last Modified Date or one of the above), you skip the per-property hover-and-click history.
