Hi @LForester,

This is due to how cross-object reports work. If you choose an object as a primary source, the report will filter all other sources through the association of that primary source object. While HubSpot is working on the custom report builder, it is not yet designed to have multiple primary sources.

The best workaround is indeed to create separate reports (which, with a total number of four reports, I'd consider acceptable). I wouldn't export and embed them but simply arrange them 2x2 on a dashboard for easy access.

If you want to alert the product team about this, you can submit a request to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community. Submissions are evaluated based on their popularity.

Best regards

I created a combined report showing the count of contacts, companies, and deals created in the past month. I noticed that the numbers were incorrect and that if I created individual reports (with the same filters) that only had one object to count, the numbers were correct.

I reached out to Hubspot for help, and was told the only way to make the numbers in the combined report (counting new contacts, companies and deals created) is to associate all records with the other records of a different object type being counted - e.g. all contact records in the CRM would need to be associated to a company and a deal. If they aren't associated to both, they will not be counted.

I was told to do the single-object reports per object type, and combine the individual reports in Google sheets and add them back to my dashboard... this doesn't seem very efficient.

Can you please create the option to give an accurate count in a report with more than one object?
