Report needed: Deals stuck in pipeline stage longer than x days

Hi,

I'm building a "Clean your room" dashboard. This is to enable my AE's to see what's untidy in their pipeline it also gives the team a better way to self manage their workflow.

I want to create a report that displays any deals which are stuck in a stage.
We define stuck as not moving out of one stage into another stage before 14 days.

So in short, we want to surface any deal that has been in a stage for longer than 14 days.

Can anyone help with this? We need this to be a report and not a workflow or task etc.

Hi @Paul_bickley1,

This can be done with a custom property, a workflow and a custom report. First you'd create a custom date picker deal property, I'd name it Entered current deal stage date.

In a deal-based workflow, you'd then set this date whenever a deal changes the Deal stage:

In another workflow, you'd set a second custom deal property, Inactive deal, to yes after 14 days.

You can now create custom deal reports (Menu > Reports > Reports > Create custom report > Single object > Deals), with the following settings:

If you're fine with inactive deals being highlighted right in the deal board view (Menu > Sales > Deals), under Board actions > Edit cards, you can set the following:
