Custom Report Companies by industry

What is the best way to generate a simple report of companies by industry. Wanting a list of companies we have that are in pharmaceuticals for example.

Hi @RSrochenski,

You would create a custom report here. Navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create custom report > Single object > Companies.

Click Filters on the upper left of the screen and set to "Create date is All time". Then click Hide Filters, you should see the Properties in the left sidebar now. If Industry isn't already listed there, you'd have to click Add Company Property and select it.

Once you're done with this step, click Visualization, and drag and drop Industry and Count of Companies in the Displaying area in the left sidebar. It should look like this:

You should see a horizontal bar chart on the right now. By clicking Display options on the upper right you can sort the bars.

If the chart isn't showing any data, you could consider enabling HubSpot Insights. HubSpot Insights gathers information on companies and populates the Industry field where possible. It's not always accurate, keep that in mind before enabling it.

Hi there, why is this report only showing companies/industry of some of my team members? I am creating this report and my name and companies are missing?
