Sales report showing duplicate data

I want to build a time series Deals report (sum of Amounts v Date) broken down by a certain property (stacked bar chart).

I tried building a single object report, but there doesn't seem to be an option to break the data down.

Further, when building a custom report, I was able to break down by my desired property, but encountered a problem. The same deals are repeated and summed for members in the same team in our app, resulting in higher than actual deal amounts as in the screenshot below. There should have been only one instance of each deal.

I was wondering whether this was an issue on our side or Hubspot's.

I forgot to mention that I'm facing this duplication issue when building a cross-domain report with Contacts and Deals.

Hey @asmitj, so this is a quirk of HubSpot cross-object reports. Here's the solution I use:

ID one person from your deals by a unique field or use one of HubSpot's like:

Buying role
Persona

And add that to the filters so that way you only get the "Project" counted once. Hope this helps!

@Bryantworks Would using Hubspots Datasets help this issue without having to use a unique field to ID one person?
