Deal reporting - volume of units

Hi Guys,

Wondering if you can help me correctly set updeal reporting that is efficient formy company's purposes. Specifically when reporting on a deal I wish to know not just the value of the deal but the amount of units that client has.

Can. anyone assist with this?

Where is the # of units tracked per client. Is it a property on your deal? Or do you use lineitems?

Forgive my ignorance as this is probably a simple fix but this is where I'm unsure where I can add this emasurable. Ideally it would be a property of the deal, but it seams as if I can't customise and include this field.
