The best way to do this is to duplicate your current report and then adjust the report specific filters to "last month" over the current time period.

It doesn't work that way. an historical pipe is not based on your create date or close date filter, it's just storing the historical dat in a database so that you can view the same report with trend data , ie same report / same filters with date defined by the user.

I don’t believe this type of database exists. You could potentially use a workflow and a HubDB table to store all the information every month. The querying would be custom to this as well.

Really need this simple feature. Filtering out a historical pipeline by create date or close date is not helpful in this case. Would need a property simply to indicate that a certain deal was in a certain pipeline at a certain time.

We just put out a report that does this at Demand Sage - syncs your HS data to a Google Sheet and then we have a library of pre-baked reports, including Pipeline Over Time (newly launched this week). Totally free to use, and we're a HubSpot Certified App Partner.

Best way to do this natively if you have Ops Hub Pro is to schedule a workflow to run and enroll all records you want to capture historical data for. Then use the Google Sheets App to create a new row with all the data you want to capture, as well as the timestamp.

Then you'll have that data going forward. No way to do it retroactively unfortunately.

Other than this way, a real BI solution is needed to capture data change over time. Reach out to me if you need help with that.
