Inquiry About Time Tracking & User Activity Monitoring in HubSpot

I wanted to ask about time tracking and employee monitoring features inside HubSpot.

I have a team of around 15 users working under me, and I want to understand if HubSpot provides any built-in system to track user working hours.

Specifically, I would like to know:

Can HubSpot automatically track when a user logs in and how much time they spend inside the CRM?

Is there any feature to monitor user activity duration (like time spent on tasks, calls, or deals)?

Does HubSpot offer any kind of employee monitoring, such as screenshots or activity tracking?

Also, if these features are not available natively:

Are there any recommended integrations (like time tracking tools) that work well with HubSpot?

Can these integrations track user activity automatically, or do users need to manually start timers?

My goal is to manage and monitor my team’s productivity more effectively, similar to how time tracking works in platforms like Upwork.

I would really appreciate your guidance on the best possible setup.

From my experience, Hubspot doesn’t really support this natively. You can see basic activity (like logins or actions), but it won’t track actual working hours or time spent on tasks.

Most teams just connect a separate time tracking tool. Things like Clockify or Toggl work fine, but they rely on manual timers, which people forget to use pretty quickly.

If you’re aiming for something closer to Upwork-style tracking, it’s worth looking at automatic options. Tools like Memtime (or similar) run in the background and build a timeline of activity, so you don’t have to start and stop timers all the time (and can export later).
