Dashboard Reports Scroll Bar that only scrolls to hide filters

Hi All,

I've noticed that no matter the sizing of my reports on a dashboard there is always a scroll bar for the report that only serves to hide the filters. I would love to simply not have this, if everything including the filters fits within the size of the report - I've tried on multiple browsers, changing zoom, etc., and it persists. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I've attached an image below to help illustrate this. Black = report name and report table, Green = all the extra space that the report has in the dashboard, Red Arrows = when I use the scroll bar on the right, all it does is scroll down to where the 'FILTERS (4)' text is no longer visible.

Hey @JDGregson

Yeah this is a known quirk with HubSpot dashboard reports, the filter section at the top of each report widget gets counted as part of the content height even when the actual data table fits perfectly within the widget. So the scrollbar appears just because of those few extra pixels the "FILTERS (4)" label takes up. Its been a pain point for a while and unfortunately there's no setting to collapse or hide the filters section inside a dashboard widget.

A couple things you can try though. First, if you edit the report and remove filters that you dont actively need visible on the dashboard (you can still apply them as fixed filters inside the report definition itself rather than showing them as interactive filters), that removes the filters bar entirely and the scrollbar should go away. The other option is to make the report widget slightly taller on the dashboard by dragging the resize handle, sometimes just a tiny bit more height is enough for HubSpot to stop showing the scroll. Its annoying that it doesnt auto adjust but thats how the rendering works right now.

If neither of those works I'd suggest posting this as a feature request on the HubSpot Ideas forum asking for collapsible or hideable filters on dashboard widgets, because you're definitely not the only one running into this. At Stacksync we spend a lot of time inside HubSpot dashboards with our customers and this scrollbar thing comes up pretty regularly, especially with reports that have multiple filters applied. Transparency note This response is grounded in my own experience and was lightly polished using AI.

Turns out this was a temporary issue that has now been fixed.
