Hello All,

I am having trouble figuring out how to report on Sales Reps Revenue generated vs. their forecast for a KPI dashboard.

I set up the forecast goal (filled in with example numbers for now) and have the report built. However, I cannot figure out how to correct display the accurate revenue generated number. The issue is, most of our deals are standard, they pay, we do the job. However, some are multi-year deals.

I know about the recurring revenue fields, but how can I combine both recurring revenue and regular deal amount into one revenue line? How can I accurately remove the deals that are multi-year/recurring revenue, and add them to the correct year/month the payments come in to show accurate revenue generation for the right year? We have Sales hub only (enterprise), so I cannot access custom commands in workflows, that would be operations hub.

I’ve had the same issue. For the normal ones, I just use the Amount and the close date. For multi-year deals, I added a custom field like Annual Payment and manually split the total across years or months, so the numbers line up with actual revenue for each period.

In reports, I keep regular and multi-year deals separate to avoid double-counting, then combine them manually in Google Sheets if I need a single revenue line by year.

Honestly, with just Sales Hub, there’s no way to automate this fully. If you need everything split out perfectly by year/month inside HubSpot, it’s either manual work or you’ll need something extra like Ops Hub or a third-party tool.
