Hi all,

I'm trying to report on the average time between the first outreach to a lead and the first logged call. My constraints:

I'm working only on the Lead object
I can’t create custom properties or workflows
We log activities (calls, emails, etc.) directly on the lead

I’ve explored the following:

I have access to “First Outreach Date” and “Time to First Touch” (lead creation → first outreach)
I have “Last Engagement Type/Date”, but they don't help with identifying the first call
There’s no rollup property that captures the first call date on the Lead

My Goal:

Create a report that answers the question:

“How long does it take from the first outreach to the first call?”

Is there a workaround using existing activity properties or reporting logic in HubSpot (custom report builder or similar)? Has anyone built a similar report without using workflows or custom calculated fields?

Hi @COHagan8 ,

Unfortunately, you will need to create a date stamp for the first call to report on this reliabily. This will require a workflow to populate either a custom date stamp property, or you could create a Custom Behavioral Event via the API.

The latter would meet your requirements as you set them out, but I suspect that working with the API is not an option for you if you don't have access to workflows?
