Historical snapshots reporting shows constant error

Hi,

We are a HubSpot partner, and run multiple customers' HubSpot portals. In three we've been trying to lately build a Historical Snapshots report from the Sales report library, but run into constant errors even with the basic filters.

E.g. I open the page, hit "Reset filters" and get "There was a problem building your report. Please try again in a minute.
If the issue continues, try updating your criteria. It may be that your data set was too large to process."

OK, I waited for 10-15 mins and updated some of the filters. Same error. Then I decided to come back to it the next day. Previous filters were on, but still gave no data (and the filters were just "All time" on timeline + "Pipeline").

These are the default filters, they by themselves also give an error:

Even without them, or anything else added, I get the same error.

These screenshots are from a test saved report, but the same happens when I try to build it in the Sales reports section:

If I also delete these default filters, the report shows nothing. And when I hit reset, these two properties show up.

This isn't the only account it has happened in. We run Sales enterprise in all, and all data is located in Europe. They are not new accounts and all have either migrated or will be soon migrated to the new Seat model.

I also get the same error for the default properties in already existing reports. These show data, but give the same error on the filters. And these have been created last autumn:

Has someone else encountered this? Is there a workaround for this? Is this a known issue?

Hi @HVouti,

If you're experiencing this consistently, I'd recommend reaching out to HubSpot support to investigate within these portals directly. This is probably the fastest way to a resolution 🙂

Hi! Of course I will continue to pursue this via support as well. I was mainly curious of there is a bigger problem / changes taking place, and if others have encountered this as well 🙂

I have the exact same thing, and support is of no help, i've been running i circles with them, did you find a way to resolve this?

Sadly not. This still happens, and I was not able to get a response from Support that would solve this nor has it fixed itself. I will try again with a different customer's account and see how it goes. I'll get back to this thread if a solution pops up!

I tried with a different account, and there it worked. So it seems not
everyone is affected by it

Got on the phone with support just now

He was actually able to help by changing the filter to deal stage probability is "known" and set the pipeline to the correct pipeline

It worked.

He managed to re-create the bug in his end, and he was very baffeld over the fact that the standard filters they deliver doesnt work.

He escelated that finding to product.
