Hey Iohran!

I can't seem to find the Last Sequence Enrolled By property in reporting, may I ask what data source is it from? It is from the sequence object itself or from Leads, Contacts etc.?

Best Regards,

Hey All,

Struggling to understand the best way to report on Meetings Booked for an SDR at my company. At the moment I report on if the meeting was created by their User ID. We had someone come through who booked a demo meeting on our website after opening the sequence of the SDR so we want to assign that meeting booked to them but of course I can't change who scheduled it. May I ask is there any other criteria people use for Meetings booked?

Extra question, they currently are measured in a meetings booked goal, and Im not sure if there is a way to change the criteria of a meeting booked on a goals target?

Best Regards,

Dan

This is a super common pain point, especially for teams where SDRs are generating interest that leads to self-booked meetings. You’re spot on — tracking meetings only by who technically “created” them can leave a lot of legitimate attribution off the table.

I ran into the same issue and found that layering in a secondary attribution method made a huge difference.

1. Try creating a custom contact property like “SDR Attributed” and used workflows to populate it based on who last enrolled the contact in a sequence or had recent logged activity (like a call or email). That way, even if the contact booked via the website, you could still trace the meeting back to who activated them. You can then build custom reports using this property and filtered it for contacts that had been booked in a defined time window.

As for your extra question — I think HubSpot’s native “Meetings Booked” goal is locked to the meeting creator, so you couldn’t tweak that logic.

Hi @DCrinnion1 Great question — and it’s one that comes up often when Sales and RevOps teams want to assign credit more accurately for meetings that weren’t booked directly by the SDR, but were influenced by their outreach.

Here's how you can approach this more effectively:

1. Use “Contact Owner” or “Last Sequence Enrolled By” as attribution criteria

If a meeting was booked via the website after the SDR initiated contact through a sequence, consider using:

The “Contact owner” as the basis for meeting attribution

Or if you're using Sequences via Sales Hub, you can use the property:

Last sequence enrolled by

This gives you a better picture of influenced meetings, even if the SDR didn’t schedule them directly.

You can then build a custom list or report showing:

Contacts who booked a meeting

Where the contact owner or sequence owner was the SDR

Meeting date and type

2. Create a custom property: “Meeting Influenced By”

If you need even more control:

Create a property to manually tag meetings with the SDR who influenced them

Use a workflow to populate this based on contact owner or last sequence

This gives you flexibility to report in a way that reflects your real-world logic

Regarding your second question: Goals Tracking

Currently, HubSpot’s Goals tool (under Sales → Goals) only tracks meetings based on the user who scheduled it, not custom attribution like "influenced by."

So no — unfortunately, you can’t change the goal criteria out-of-the-box to use a custom field like “Contact Owner” or “Meeting Influenced By”.

Workaround:

Track influenced meetings via custom report or dashboard (not Goals)

Keep the Goals module for hard metrics (directly scheduled)

Use your custom report to complement it with influence-based performance

If that helps, feel free to mark this as the solution so others can find it more easily!
