Hi @RTayler,

Yes, HubSpot does say records (like Contacts, Companies, Deals) are retrievable for up to 90 days after deletion — but only if they were soft-deleted.

If you're not seeing them in the “Recently Deleted” section, it's likely they were permanently deleted.

In that case HubSpot support won’t be able to recover them.

Best,

Records deleted

I deleted some records and stages 14 hours ago and these can not be retrieved. Im told by the freeware support person that I must have deleted them over 90 days ago. I did not. The documented instructions state that the records can be retrieved within 90 days. This is not correct, The documented instructions also state that the DEAL views are independant and a new view with changes will not impact the original view. This is also incorrect.

Re: Records deleted

Hi @RTayler,

There are two types of deletes: regular and permanent.

For a regular delete, contacts will show up when you try to restore them: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/restore-deleted-records

With a permanent delete, the overall idea is that they cannot be restored: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/privacy-and-consent/how-do-i-perform-a-gdpr-delete-in-hubspot

The only way for these contacts to reenter your CRM would be via a form submission. If you still have the contact details, you could submit a form (minimum: email address) and the contact record would at least be recreated with that information. You will not be able to restore it entirely.

Best regards!

Betreff: Records deleted

Hi @RTayler

Stages and records are two different things.

Where exactly are you looking for the deleted records - these can be retrived for up to 90 days, how to restore is described here.

Stages are a different matter, once deleted they are gone - simple as that.

I am hbvaing trouble making sense of what you are saying here "The documented instructions also state that the DEAL views are independant and a new view with changes will not impact the original view." - can you try being a bit more descriptive please. How to create and save views is described here.
