Sales velocity 2025 report is wrong

Good day, colleagues,

I used prebuilt Sales velocity report for since 2024 data and it seems to be correct below:

But I am struggling with building the correct Sales velocity report for 2025 and we closed 2 deals this year, but data shows zero:

What can be wrong here and hope to see correct data?

Hi @ISmolin,

"Scripted property (Sales velocity)" looks like a custom property in your portal, nothing out of the box. The first step of troubleshooting would be to check how exactly this is currently being populated (you can go into the property settings, look up the property and check where it's currently being used).

If for example this is being populated via API, you would talk to the developers. If it's being set via workflow, you would check the workflow actions log for the affected deals.

Hi, @karstenkoehler thank you for your response. It is a HubSpot prebuilt property from Sales Analytics - Sales Velocity report.

Are you sure @ISmolin ?

The default Sales velocity report looks at average days to close and not currency amounts, which makes sense because the velocity is looking at how quickly/slowly you close deals not by what amount.

@ISmolin and you are 100% sure those two deals were created this year (not closed) and are in that pipeline?

@franksteiner79 I think we are mixing Sales and Deal velocity reports and definitions 😉 I have just checked, and by default - Deasl velocity is about days to close, and Sales velocity is about money

@karstenkoehler yeah I think we need to agree internally what we want to see here. We do not have yet Deals that were created and closed: won or lost this year - that is why no data.
