Sales velocity for 2025 report is wrong

Good day, colleagues,

I took the prebuilt Deals velocity report and changed the pipeline to Land. I want to see the Sales velocity for 2025 - this year. What filters should I use to see the correct data?

Now, it is incorrect as we are in March, and the maximum amount of days we can - be 60 or so, and here below, we see 300+. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @ISmolin

Pretty sure you just have to adjust the time filter:

This has loads of options including this year, quarter, month as well as rolling date ranges (last 365 days) or custom date ranges.

@karstenkoehler we have 2 different reports: Sales velocity and Deals velocity, hence 2 different conversation but yes the issue seems to be the same 🙂

Thank you @franksteiner79 I changes the close date as creating data rolling period last 60 days will not help for velocity, I believe, and close date last 60 days seem to me more meaningful and got such a result:

@ISmolin the average days to close can be a lot more than the number of days this year – after all the report is filtering for the close date. Just because the deal was closed this year, doesn't mean that it was also created this year. A deal could've been created years ago and close now and appear in this report. That's why the time to close is not limited by the number of days in 2025.

If you only wanted deals in 2025, you would additionally filter for: Create date is this year.
