Hi Community,

I'm a BDR, and whenever I book a meeting for my Account Executive (AE), I have to open a deal and assign my AE as the deal owner.

However, we have specific attribution rules where, if I have a certain number of touches on an account, I can be credited for the deal—even if my AE opens it himself and doesn't manually attribute me. The challenge is that I need to proactively find these deals, as they aren’t automatically assigned to me, meaning my previous efforts could go unnoticed.

What I need is a deal view that shows:

All deals created by Person X (my AE)

Where I had at least one touchpoint with a contact from that company within the 30 days before the deal was created

Does anyone know the right way to set this up in HubSpot? What filters should I use to ensure the view only includes deals where I was the one reaching out in the last 30 days before deal creation?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Hi @CKnobloch,

The challenge here is accurately pulling this information specifically based on that activity happening within 30 days of a deal create date. If you are able to monitor this report you could have the deal pull to the report once it's created IF you have had activity in the last 30 days (I'd probably expand this to 45 so you have some buffer time to review).

You may want to apply other date properties such as deal create date so that the report doesn't pull everything.

Now, if you do have Operations Hub Pro or Enterprise, I think you could create a custom data set that would allow you to have a more stable list of these deals. The AI formula creator could help you get what you need (I think). https://knowledge.hubspot.com/data-management/create-and-use-datasets

If you don't have Ops Pro or Ent., the above filters should give you a report that you could monitor more easily than hunting for the deals. If you have the ability to create a property, I would add one that allows you to note that you checked it and anything that's checked gets removed from that report.

Hope this helps!

Josh
