    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think we need more informations to help choosing the best option.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Is it a one partner = one user (email address) scenario ?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Do you have a specific pipeline for each parter, for the partner in general or partner's deals are in the same pipeline than internal deals ?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;</description>

      <title>Forecasting for channel partners</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We are looking for a solution for the following need:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we have several channel partners that generate leads and close deals (resellers). We would like to&amp;nbsp; be able to forecast and track goal attainment for our partners as a whole and each seprately. We identified two posible solution, but each has downsides:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. create a user per partner and assign it a seat. this allows us to set goals and track attainment through the forecast tool. This is the perfect solution, however, this means buying seats for partners which makes it pricy&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Create a not-forecasted deal for the goal ammount as refrence with a specific deal stage and firecasting on 0%. Track all other deals&amp;nbsp; using the partner only pipeline through normal deal cycle. This gives an overall partners view and&amp;nbsp; to tracck per partner one should filter the pipeline per specific pratner. This give some level of a solution but makes tracking very&amp;nbsp; manual and cumbersome.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a better way to manage channel partners pieline and forecasting?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. It is a one partner= one user scenario as partners will not have access to the CRM, we will manage the deal life cycle (which is simplified as it will go through the partner). The only purpose of creating a "partner" user is to be able to set a quota and track against it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. We created a seperate pipeline for all the partners and all partners will be members in a "Partners" team. The purpose is to be able to set a goal on a team level and goals for individual partners which will allow us to gauge attaintment on the overal partners' attainment as well as on the individual partner performance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
