Creating a report showing top deals over a 3 year period

Hi!

I am very new to Hubspot and I find that I need more time to understand various vocabulary within the CRM.

What I'm basically looking for is, how do I create a basic report that shows 5-figure donations/deals that happened in the past 3-5 years?

I'd like to create a spreadsheet that shows donor/contact name, the amount, and contact details.

Can anyone help me out?

Hi @DYoonZacharias ,

1. Log in to your HubSpot account > Reports > Create custom report.
2. Select “Single object” as the report type, then choose “Deals” as the object type.
Set a filter for the deal amount to only include 5-figure donations. Use the filter to specify the range like greater than or equal to.
3. Set a filter for the close date to include only deals from the past 3-5 years. For example, if you want the last 3 years, set the filter to “Close date is between 3 years ago and today.
4. You can add more columns email, phone number etc.

This can be achieved with the custom report builder: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-reports-with-the-custom-report-builder

Navigate to Menu > Reporting & Data > Reports > Create report > Custom Report Builder > Choose my own data sources
Select Deals as primary data source and Contacts as additional source
Set up the Configure and Filters tab like shown below

Should you not have a Professional or Enterprise subscription, this is not possible. You would have to create a filtered view: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/filter-records-and-save-views (The filters would correspond to the screenshot above, the displayed columns would be deal name, amount, associated contact. The contact details could not be displayed.)

@DYoonZacharias no, this is unfortunately not possible. You could display the sum however and simply sort them by sum. All deals below 5-figure would still be in the report but sorted by amount, they would appear to the bottom.

It looks like you accepted the reply as a solution that doesn't fully match your original question, could you double check?

Hi,

Is there a solution to allow the user to enter the year(s) that they want to see data for? Example is if someone wants to see 2021-2024, they would just need to enter those dates in a range box.
