Pipeline Deal count by week and deal stage

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a custom report to show the deal count by stage and compare the current week with the past week. The view I want to achieve looks like this:

However, I'm not getting the correct graph. I tried placing both the deal stage and the created date on the X-axis, but it didn't work. I also tried using the "Compare by" feature, but it isn't giving me anything close to the view I shared above.

Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @TVaz,

If you want to visualize the amount of deals that were in that stage this week and last week, this cannot be done in a custom report. One HubSpot report could either tell you how many deals entered one stage last week and how many are in it now – but not for multiple stages.

However, there is a report in the sales collections which does something very similar, 'Historical snapshot': https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-sales-reports-with-the-sales-reports-analytics-tool

Set the filters like this:

The graph will show the deal amount, when you scroll down, you'll have a table with the count of deals.

This is as close as you can get to your requirements in HubSpot. The exact report you're looking for is not possible, unfortunately.

i cannot believe that Hubspot only provide an extremely granular level of reporting (entered or left X deal stage) but not an overall snapshot of this month vs last month by deal stage. Surely every sales team on the planet wants to know this basic summary before digging deeper ? There must be a way of either doing this natively or exporting raw data so we can plug these feature gaps by building our own BI reports outside of Hubspot ?
