Custom Reports

Is there a way to create a custom report where I can view the following example:
-Deal Owner
-Deal stage (each specific deal stage we have)
-Total number of deals that are/were in this deal stage for the current month

Hi @kgates,

Unfortunately not, no, at least not within one report. Similar reports (without breakdown by owner) are available in the sales analytics: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-sales-reports-with-the-sales-reports-analytics-tool#forecasts-pipelines

Especially the "Historical snapshots" report might be close to what you're looking for.

If the owner information needs to be visualized, you need to create one custom report per deal stage, using the custom report builder: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-reports-with-the-custom-report-builder

You would visualize the "Count of Deals" by the "Date entered ..." date corresponding to that deal stage, broken down by "Deal owner". The report would be filtered by deals where the matching "Date entered ..." date is known.

Is the date entered going to show how many deals were in that deal stage or just what is currently in that stage?

@kgates it would show how many deals went through that stage, or how many are currently in that stage. (That can of course also be done.)

Thank you this has helped! The issues it looks like I am runing into now is it is not showing deal that went through this deal stage but skipped another deal stage. Is there a solution for this? Thank you!

I wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and if there is a workarounbd. When i create these custom reports it is not including deals if they skipped any of deal stages.
ie. A deal was in the Qualified stage and skipped to Closed won it wont show in any of the deal stage reports.
