Duplicate Deal Information in Excel Export

Hi Everyone,

I'm having an issue with exporting Deal information from a HubSpot report in an Excel file. If a deal is linked to multiple companies, its information gets duplicated, based on the Company ID, which forces us to do lots of manual work to clean all data in the spreadsheet. I am attaching a small sample to provide more clarity.

These are actually 3 deals that show as 6, because they are associated to a primary company (customer) and a partner company. I found no way to exclude the partner companies from appearing within the export. I tried exporting via a custom report and then a single object report with deal information only, but that still didn't solve the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @PPenev_1,

You should be able to fix this by filtering on only the Primary Company association label. This isn't in the most obvious place so please see in the screenshot below-

Hey @PPenev_1

have you tried editing the column in the view and exporting only that information?

This way you get to see only that information for each deal.

If you are doing a custom report

you can try Louise suggestion and filter 1 association label such as Primary company.
