I Cannot download the app on iPhone 6

I got an iPhone 6 for work and I am trying to download the HubSpot app. I set the device up today (cache was cleared before), updated the system to iOS 12.5.7 and have 56GB of storage available.

When I go to the app store, the app does show up and says that the newest version requires iOS 15 or newer, but it also provides an option to download an older version. When I try to download the old version the download starts and finishes. During the installation the whole process stops, I can't stop it anymore from the app store so I am left with a darker HS icon among my apps which I can only delete. I also tried downloading from the purchased section of App Store as I have the app on other devices but that didn't work either.

I also downloaded other apps that require a newer system (Mailchimp, Slack) and those work without any issue.

How can I get around this? I need the app on this device...

Unfortunately, I don't think there's a confirmed way to get this to work. This is what HubSpot says about the mobile app versions: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/mobile/how-to-install-the-hubspot-mobile-application

The HubSpot mobile app can be installed on iOS devices running iOS 15 or later or on Android devices running Android 10 and above. If you already have the HubSpot mobile app installed, please ensure the app version on your device is 4.12.0 or newer on iOS, and 2.214.0 or newer on Android.

If you're approach worked for other apps, this doesn't mean, unfortunately, it'll work for HubSpot either.

Generally, I would not advise to run outdated versions of apps like HubSpot either as newer versions also include security fixes.

Unfortunately, I cannot upgrade. I talked with Apple customer support too, and they said the problem is on HubSpot's end in the app library of the App store. I am not looking for the newest features, I just want to see my tasks and click on phone numbers directly at the contact. Is there any way I can install the latest version that was still supported on iOS 12?

I know for sure that the issue is not because of anything being wrong with the device as I tried the advice of every related helpdesk.

While that does make sense, HubSpot doesn't guarantee that anything outside of the below specs will work:

You can try and reach out to the HubSpot technical support team but I doubt they'll spend resources on making outdated versions of an app work, unfortunately.

Android devices running Android 10 and above, as well as iOS devices running iOS 15 or later, can both install the HubSpot mobile app like new Whatsapp .
