It sounds like the feature where you could directly open the QuickBooks (QB) invoice PDF from the customer dashboard was working previously but has now stopped, even though the mapping still appears to be correct. If the sync is showing that invoices are being excluded, it could be due to updated sync rules, permission changes, or filters being applied unintentionally in the integration settings. One quick fix to try is reviewing the invoice sync criteria in your integration settings and ensuring the invoices meet the conditions set for syncing. Also, double-check if there were any changes to your QuickBooks or HubSpot user permissions recently. If everything looks fine and the issue persists, a reauthentication or refreshing the sync connection might help restore the previous functionality. If none of these steps solve the problem, reaching out to support or reviewing recent update logs might be needed.

Cloudify can help streamline your QuickBooks and HubSpot integration to ensure features like automatic deal-to-invoice/estimate conversion in QuickBooks work smoothly and consistently.

https://cloudify.biz/app-list/quickbooks

Updated Quickbooks integration

Hello everyone,

before the recent update, I was able to open the pdf QB invoice directly in the customer dashboard. It is not working anymore even though the mapping looks okay. It keeps showing in the synch that the invoices are excluded. It is not a big deal but I did enjoy that feature a lot. Is this the way it is going to be now or is there anything I can do about it?

Thank you so much for your help!

Jen

Hi @Epi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I believe you are inquiring about utilizing the "Create Invoice" button to generate invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO). The updated QBO integration did not include support for syncing invoices to QBO, whether in PDF format or otherwise.

If you'd like to continue using this feature, you can absolutely go back to the old integration and continue using the "Create Invoice" button on the Integration Invoices card.

1. Uninstall the new integration.
2. Visit the following link to reinstall the legacy integration.

Best,

Diana

I'm with folkes here; QB is an Accounting App, and we limit access to that app. HubSpot is pushing Sales, Pyament Links, and Quotes to Invocies functions within the CRM, so it stands to reason I would just invoice from there, in lieu of double-entry requiremnts to take the quote qnd build it again in QB only to invoice it again. Seems much more functional to convert quote to invoice in HubSpot and then push back to QB accounting.

I hope someone is going to be revising this integration, as a mere contacts and propduct synch is rather useless.

I just found that the function to open our QB invoices as pdf file is still there but moved to a different tab. Now you have to choose 'preview' and in the preview section is the direct link.
