Dear Karsten, thank you for your fast reply. I will check with support of Creatio. If it will remain on this end, too. We will import Contacts/ Companies in both systems and in order to get the activities in both systems we will use the connection via sync. Kind regards, Heiko

Dear community.

I want to sync data from Creatio with HubSpot. Previously I have copied the Contacts and Companies by export/import in both systems. Activity data shall be syncronized between the systems. What will hapen with activities once the sync between the systems will be disabled? Is there a way to keep this data alive in both systems?

Thank you.

Kind,

Heiko

Hi @heiko_bergmann,

Any records and activities created should remain in HubSpot. While I haven't tested this with Creatio specifically, I haven't encountered any other app that handles this differently - it would require active deletion upon disconnecting the apps.

Best regards!

Hi @heiko_bergmann

When you disconnect a sync in HubSpot, any records or activities that were already created stay in place. HubSpot doesn’t retroactively delete those. What you lose is only the live connection: no new updates will flow after the disconnect.

That’s true for contacts, companies, and also for logged activities like emails, calls, or notes, see HubSpot’s general behavior around integrations here

On the Creatio side, it depends entirely on how their connector behaves. Most systems don’t actively wipe data either, but it’s worth confirming with their support as you mentioned. The safe assumption: both sides “freeze” the data where it is when you stop the sync, meaning you’ll keep a snapshot of the last successful statee

If your goal is to make sure activities remain accessible in both systems long-term, you could do an export/import or even set up a secondary pipeline for backup before disabling the sync. HubSpot also allows you to export all activity logs if you need an archive

And just as a side note: some teams that want this continuity without constant manual exports lean on platforms like Stacksync, since it keeps activities synchronized in real time between CRMs and databases even if you later pause or reconfigure a connection.

It avoids the “snapshot problem” by ensuring both systems always hold the same history before you disconnect.

Hope this helps.
