How to decide which pipelines from Salesforce sync to HubSpot

Hi there!

We're setting up an integration between Salesforce and HubSpot. Sales department works in SF, but we'd want those results to flow back in HubSpot. In HubSpot we are limited to 2 pipelines, because of our subscription. In SF we have 5 pipelines.

How can I determine which pipelines from SF are synced to HubSpot?

Please review the data in each of the five pipelines in Salesforce. Look at factors such as the type of leads or opportunities in each pipeline, the volume of data, and their importance to your sales process.

What I mean is: how can I select which pipelines sync with HubSpot. Since we can only have 2 pipelines in HubSpot, and we have 5 in Salesforce; how do I know which pipelines sync and how can I influence that?

If you want to "limit"the available pipelines from Salesforce, this 'd be a Salesforce user setup.

I know this article, but I can't draw a certain conclusion from it. Do you think that if we create two pipelines in HubSpot that have the exact name, only the opportunities from those pipelines will only sync?

So if we want to sync the two pipelines that are called ABC and XYZ in Salesforce, we'd have to create a pipeline in HubSpot with the names:

- 'Salesforce - ABC'

- 'Salesforce - XYZ'

so as this article establishes the SF-HS integration will create the SF pipelines as new pipelines in HubSpot,

so for this to happend you will need a Sales PRO licence or Enterprise in HubSpot with the posibility to have more than 2 pipelines.

For the moment there is no mapping like saying this pipeline A in Hubspot y pipeline ABC in salesforce just to keep using your pre-existent pipelines (at least not with the standard conector)

you will need to start using the new SF pipelines created in HubSpot in order to have the opportunities synced.

I've found this helpful article about Selective Sync: https://www.hubspot.com/salesforce-selective-sync . That's a feature like the Inclusion List in HubSpot, but that is taking place in Salesforce. There you determine what records do and do-not get synced.

Yes, selective sync is for Contacts that you want to sync between SF and HS

not for deals and pipelines.
