Xero Integrations and Invoices Rollout

Hi, I am just needing a bit of help confirming what is happening with the release of Invoices.

I have a few clients that we have installed the Xero native integrations so they can invoice out from a deal or contact, and have objects sync between the systems.

This is done by installing the the integrations built by both HubSpot and Xero and then using the card on the right hand side of an object called "Integration Invoices". I can click create invoice, it takes me to Xero and I can create the invoice.

It appears with the release of Invoices this is removed by HubSpot and replaced with the "Invoices" card on the right hand side of an object. Is there anyway we can confirm this is the case? Confirmation of this would be great so I can communicate this to users.

The issue with this is, because the new Invoices module is attached to payments, all my clients in APAC can not use this and it appears that it removes the Xero integrations Integration Invoices in the process.

Looking forward to some clarity here!

I want to share this knowledge base here with more information about creating and managing invoices. This feature is still in BETA.

Please note: invoices can only be created if your account's default currency is set to USD.

I would highly recommend you to please post this idea at our ideas forum (here).

Our product team, who monitors the forum regularly, can read your specific use case and understand why this would be a useful functionality or change. It also helps other customers facing the same issue to advocate for its implementation on your behalf by upvoting on the thread as well.

Edit: What Support told was actually incorrect - Xero has made it a paid feature in the integration settings. So you connect the integration and then in Xero Integration Settings have to pay a monthly amount for the Invoices add on.

Hi @PamCotton , HubSpot Support confirmed that the rollout of invoices removes the "integration invoices" CRM Card - which means countries outside of the US will not be able to use the CRM Card in the native app to invoice straight out of HubSpot anymore.

@JoshBarber do you know if this will be a permanent change, as i am in Australia and we can purchase the integration app without any warning of currency limitations.

Hi @GTorrens I just edited my post after you thumbs'd up! What Support told me was actually incorrect - Xero has made it a paid feature. So you connect the integration and then in the Xero Integration Settings opt to pay a monthly amount for invoices add on. Then you'll see Invoices - Integrations tab again.

I believe that HubSpot payments is rolling out internationally in Feburary but they haven't mentioned what regions yet.

Thanks Josh, I did choose the paid option for the invoicing, and this didn’t help. I believe we may have to wait. ☹

@GTorrens If you have enabled the add on, in the record customisation (right hand side bar), may be check if you have added the card.

Just dropping an update since this showed up in our search results and Xero are retiring the Integration Invoices integration.

Our marketplace app Invoice Stack, is a drop-in replacement and works in a very similar way to the existing app - without needing to migrate to HubSpot invoicing. It's easy to get set up with a free trial to give it a go.
