Not all Apollo contacts get imported into Hubspot

Hi,

I tried pushing my apollo contacts into hubspot. Of the 887 apollo contacts i selected, only 774 are showing in hubspot. It's been about an hour, it doesn't seem like more will come up.

Any idea why this happened/how to prevent it? I had over 1,000 apollo export credits, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Hey @mciche2, thanks for reaching out!

I haven't personally used Apollo or this integration before, but I have some quick thoughts:

Ensure that your push settings are properly configured

Looking at the integration guide form Apollo, I'm seeing that you can limit which contacts are pushed from Apollo to HubSpot based on their stage:

If the contacts that aren't coming into HubSpot were pulled after you set up the integration, I would definitely check your settings to ensure that they're free to sync.

Ensure that all contact have unique email addresses

Is it possible that any of those contacts share the same email address? HubSpot allows only one contact to exist per email address, so they may be deduplicating your Apollo contacts.

If you've done both of those and still aren't seeing all contacts in HubSpot, I would reach out to Apollo support for further assistance.

Thanks for the response! From what I've gathered, it seems that hubspot requires an email address for each contact or it doesn't allow for importing. I had apollo contacts without an email address, looks like this was the issue.

Thanks for your response! That would do it haha. You can always export contacts from Apollo into a spreadsheet, fill in the email address, and manually import into HubSpot.

Hi, did you find a way of pushing contacts even if they do not have emails? I just wanted to push because in some regions Apollo can't find emails but have linkedin accounts

Same problem. Whats the workaround? I have large lists in Sales Navigator I am pushing into Apollo/Hubspot. Unless they have an email they dont get copied into hubspot? How do we fix that?

Similar issue.. I pushed a list of 250 people, but only went to Hubspot the companies and not the employees as contacts... Any thoughts?
