Hello,

We are looking into ways to streamline our sales and fulfillment processes. Currently, we offer customer several different ways to pay: via a Stripe payment link, through our ecommerce store (WooCommerce), and by sending over a P.O..

We are facing a few issues:

1) It is difficult to consolidate a full view of all sales channels in terms of fulfillment (tracking serial numbers, shipping info, etc, which we don't usually keep in the Hubspot Deal)

2) Simple things like getting the shipping address and ensuring sales tax is correct can be difficult with issuing a quote and recieving a P.O., as well as manually entering in information

I was wondering if there could be a way instead of adding a Stripe payment link to our quote, we could create a WooCommerce cart with the desired items from the quote, so they could check out through that portal, collect our necessary info, and track all (or more ) of our orders in a single place.

Has anyone else looked into this, or know of a better way? Thank you!

Hi @SHodges45,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

Have you already considered using HubSpot's native payments tool to collect data & payments?

I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this thread to see if they have any insights they could share on this topic:

Hi @HubDoPete, @boydwason, @HFisher7, do you have any advice for @SHodges45? Thank you!

Cheers
Mia, Community Team

Hi Sydney,

I understand your pain! Your first issue is a limitation with the HubSpot Shopify integration which is bidirectional for contacts and one-way Shopify to HubSpot for orders to deals, and for products to products. This limits the ability to manage sold inventory and leads to your pain as you need a sold inventory object and the ability to update bidirectionally to manage this object.

Your second issue is a result of the way the third-party cart functionality uses user cached data to populate fields (via the API) or that data not being able to be past via the API because of where it sits in the cart payment process.

To solve these issues we've developed CommercePro, a native HubSpot commerce solution that deploys as an application layer in HubSpot. The solution deploys all the customer objects, associations, and themes needed to implement a full-featured commerce experience on HubSpot, including integration with Stripe and leading SAAS finance platforms.

An alternative is to develop a customer API, but you will still encounter many of the data integration issues you're already experiencing due to the limited control you have over the Shopify cart function or the issues that come with open-source Woocommerce API development.

You can find out more about CommercePro at commercepro.co
