We are using segment.com to track events in our custom web/mobile app.

Have gone through the following documentation https://segment.com/docs/connections/destinations/catalog/hubspot/#track

Contacts and companies are being updated, but none of the custom track events are being sent through to hubspot.

Has anyone successfully connected segment to hubspot.

What we would like to achieve:

1. See the custom events in the activity timeline of a contact

2. Use the custom events for lead scoring

3. Use the custom events for workflows/sequences

Happy to offer some help @PamCotton, I have a few questions @MNabi in addition to confirming whether you're using the integration or if you've created a manual integration:

1 - can you confirm the events are visible directly in Segment?

2 - do the 46 failed events shown in HubSpot match Segment?

3 - after the custom events, it can take up to 60 minutes for the visualization to update, can you confirm the events are still missing?

Thanks for your reply.

We are using the hubspot/segment integration.

1 - can you confirm the events are visible directly in Segment? Events are visible in Segment and we have no issues with the events showing up in our other tools

2 - do the 46 failed events shown in HubSpot match Segment?

We are not seeing any events showing up in Hubspot. We are getting "Payload Validation Failed" errors.

3 - after the custom events, it can take up to 60 minutes for the visualization to update, can you confirm the events are still missing?

Events are still missing.

@MNabi thank you for the answers, based on your replies, it sounds like the issue lies with the integration itself.

I recommend reaching out to Twilio Segment Support directly since they are the provider for the integration.
