Send Slack notification with weekly/monthly reports on pipeline performance

Hello,

I would like to build a workflow that would send recurring Slack notifications with the following data for the last week or month:

# of new leads added to the pipeline X
# of meetings completed by person Y
# of deals moved from Stage A to Stage B in the pipeline X

I couldn't figure out how to do it myself.

I would greatly appreciate some guidance around this!

Hey @LGoldfarb, thanks for reaching out!

You can use the Slack integration to send dashboards to specific Slack channels (instructions in this HubSpot Knowledge Base article). Once you build out those reports above within a dashboard, you can configure the dashboard to send to the needed Slack channel (you can also send it to specific email addresses, if desired). You can also pin a direct link to the dashboard within your Slack channel so that users can check out the dashboard in real-time whenever they need to.

To create this workflow in HubSpot, you can follow these steps:

Go to your HubSpot account and navigate to the Workflows tool.
Click the "Create Workflow" button to start a new workflow.
Choose the "Standard" workflow type.
Set the enrollment trigger to a time-based workflow with a recurring frequency (e.g. every Monday).
Add the necessary filters to segment the leads, meetings, and deals data based on the last week or month.
Add the Slack integration to the workflow by clicking the "+" icon and selecting "Send Slack message" from the list of actions.
Enter the Slack channel or user you want to send the message to and customize the message format using the available personalization tokens.
Test the workflow and activate it to start sending recurring Slack notifications with the requested data.

Here's an example message format you can use:

"Last week, we added X new leads to pipeline Y, person Z completed Y meetings, and X deals were moved from Stage A to Stage B in pipeline Y."

The main struggle is with the step #5, i.e., the calculation of those items. For example, how would you calculate the # of deals that moved from pipeline stage A to B last month, and add this variable to Slack notifications?

Thanks, but, unfortunately, this is not what I'm looking for. I'd want Slack to send not just the links to those reports, but a message like this

This is a monthly report:

# of new leads added to the pipeline X
# of meetings completed by person Y
# of deals moved from Stage A to Stage B in the pipeline X

Meaning that I need to

1. Create these calculated variables (# of deals/meetings over a certain period)

2. Somehow add them to Slack messages in a HubSpot workflow (notifications)
