Contact information does not sync

Good afternoon all,

It appears only contact names have ben syncing to Hubspot. It's making me have to manually enter phone numbers, email addresses and mailing addresses. Needless to say, that takes too much time! I am trying to sync from Google and HiHello.

What am I missing?

I would want it to sync to their contact card.

Hi @BHert,

Could you please be more specific? How are you entering data into HubSpot and where? Where do you expect information to sync from and where to?

If you can share screenshots, that usually also helps. The more context the share you better. HubSpot is a big solution with a large number of tools and without context, you could be referring to many different areas.

Hi @BHert

Just echoing @karstenkoehler's point, where are your contacts syncing from?

Do you have an integration like Outlook Syn or Eventbrite setup that creates and updates contacts?

Are you using the HubSpot API?

Are you importing contacts into HubSpot?

We need to understand the origin of those contacts in order to troubleshoot possible syncing problems.

I am entering the data into my phone and then using the Google contact integration to hubspot. I also use HiHello to google contact which should then google contact to hubspot .

Either way, the google contact integration does not integrate all contact information into hubspot. I have to enter the remaining important information to hubspot manually.

Hi @BHert

Have you checked the sync settings for Google Contacts?

I've notided that the default setting is for a one way sync from HubSpot -> Google Contacts, which would explain why no syncing happens the other way around.

Could you check that setting, and if applicable, change it to either one-way from Google to HubSpot or to bi-directional.

Yes i have it set to sync from google contacts to hubspot!

@MFrankJohnson are you able to help me? I am not understanding why my google contacts will not sync with Hubspot. i have integration and it all looks like i have it set up correctly but when i am in hubspot, on the contact name has synced. Not phone, email, addresses.

is ther anyway we can just get on zoom and knock this out? my side looks exactly like your screenshots.
