I have the integration set up.. I'm looking to set up a campaign in SalesForce and create a list using that campaign in HubSpot. From what I've researched.. your campaign in SalesForce needs to be marked as
"Active" but I'm not sure where to locate this in HubSpot.

Hi @THyson,

You can sync Campaigns directly to HubSpot, at enterprise level the integration has an option of syncing custom objects. Since the salesforce campaigns act is a custom object, it can be synced with a custom object in HubSpot. Using this custom object you can create a workflow and use that workflow to tag the campaign name and add contacts associated with this custom object into a static list.

Here at Digital Reach we help clients set up their accounts to work as they want them. We have a lot of experience working with the SFDC integration and if you’d like to make a time to meet with us we see if we can make a custom solution for you to achieve your goals.

Best,
Aman Vij
https://digitalreachos.com/

Re: SalesForce Campaigns in HubSpot

Hi @THyson

In 2025, the Salesforce - HubSpot integration hasn’t really changed how campaign status works: the Active flag still lives in Salesforce and needs to be set there.

Once you do that, HubSpot can pick it up through the integration and you can build a list off the Campaign IDs property to segment contacts tied to that campaign

What has improved recently is HubSpot’s handling of custom objects at Enterprise level. If you need more than just the campaign name like hierarchy, member statuses, or deeper associations you can now sync Salesforce Campaigns as custom objects and build workflows or lists directly around those relationships

It’s not a perfect one-to-one with Salesforce’s native campaign hierarchy, but it gives you far more flexibility than was available a few years ago.

When teams need these relationships to stay aligned in real time across both systems, Stacksync handles the bidirectional sync so member statuses and campaign data flow back and forth instantly without manual checks. Hope this helps bring it into today’s context.
