Dear HubSpot community,

I have a question regarding HubSpot integrations. I need to integrate our website's application form with our HubSpot Free CRM. I have found in settings that you should use a forwarding address (the same is with our Asana which works though) and then "Emails forwarded to this address will be attached to any matching contacts. If no contact is found, a new one will be created."

However, I faced an issue: when a customer leaves a request on our website, we receive an email from the website, Asana receives a new request, but HubSpot neither creates a new contact or lead. Could you please advise me on that?

Thank you in advance!

Helo Daryn,

Thanks for your reply. No, it's not a HubSpot platform, it is coming from a generic\system email address. Could you please advise me, what am I supposed to do to fix this issue?

Many thanks to you in advance!

Alex

@akorpechkin there are a few options:

1. Replace your non-HubSpot form with a HubSpot form, this will be the easiest option.

2. Use collected forms, here is an article on how this works: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/use-non-hubspot-forms

3. Make the forms come from the person completing the forms and to a generic email address. Set this generic email address up in the Conversations Inbox and convert all inbox messages to contacts.

4. Use the Forms API to mimick a form submission: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/forms/forms_overview
