Hi @cchampa,

I agree with @kvlschaefer here. Even creating the contact in HubSpot using the obtained email address and then sending the invite in whatever fashion is preferred would work, but I don't see a workaround at this point without creating something on the HubSpot side.

Hubspot not logging meetings contact timeline (contact doesn't exist in HubSpot yet)

Our salespeople prospect and set up meetings through LinkedIn - they talk to contacts and get email addresses there, then send a calendar invite for a meeting.

The issue we're running into is that if the contact does not already exist in Hubspot (as is frequently the case with new prospects), the calendar invite does not log the meeting to the contact's timeline once the contact is eventually created.

Does anyone know of a workaround to make sure these meetings are logged? Thank you!

Hi @cchampa,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

I updated the title of your post so other community members can refer to it if they have the same question.

I wanted to share this knowledge base article on manually logging activities to CRM records in HubSpot. Your reps can manually log the meetings on the contact record after they have met with their prospects via their desktop or via the mobile app if they're out on the go.

I'm aware this is a manual solution (and may not be scalable depending on the size of your team) so I also wanted to invite our subject matter experts to see if they have any ideas.

Hi @TomM2, @franksteiner79, @Josh - Do you have any workarounds for @cchampa's use case?

Thank you!

Best,
