Login expired every day

Hi there,

I have an issue woth Gmail sales extension lasting for 3 and more months. Every day I start gmail (under Chrome browser) I have to login again to the extension. There is notification, that my login has expired.

In the past it worked well = no daily login was requested. I was logged in for months.

I have red articles:

and found archived topic Gmail Extension keeps logged me out

Nothing helped me to solve the issue.

Can you help me somehow, please?

I wanted to ask some clarifying questions regarding this issue:

1) Do you have two-factor authentication enabled for your HubSpot account?

2) Are you able to reproduce this error message on a different browser?

3) Do you have a VPN enabled on your computer?

4) Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Chrome extension?

Would you also be able to please share a screenshot of the expiration message you are seeing on your end?

Yes, I have it enabled

2) Are you able to reproduce this error message on a different browser?

I didn't tried. I can install Edge or Firefox and test it. But it is
important for me to work in Chrome as there is my complete work ecosystem.

3) Do you have a VPN enabled on your computer?

No

4) Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Chrome extension?

Yes. Many times

Hi @VitaZ,

Thank you for these details. It sounds like this login expiration is due to your 2FA authentication.

I wanted to share this "Set up single sign-on (SSO)" knowledge base article which states if click "Remember me", you only have to do 2FA if you are on a new device or after 6 months.

Can you please confirm if you have "selected Remember Me" in your 2FA setup?

Hi Kristen,

thank You for Your support. I did not notice one thing, which seems to be important now. I do use a Google account for login. So I do use SSO provided by Google. I do not log in to the Hubspot with my hubspot username and password.

It sounds like Google may not recognize your device which could prompt you to log out.

Would you be able to share a screenshot of the logout expiration message to look into this further?

Hallo, here are some screenshots.

It inspired me to create bug log and there are red-labeled lines (see bellow). It led me to check the cookies settings in my browser. I did'n find anything different against default settings. So I reset all cookies for hubspot.com and will see.

Unfortunately, problem still persists on my account. Alhough I had sent detailed logs to hubspot feeeback team and here in the post. It seems there is probelm in cookie verification. Maybe it can help You to identify, what coul cause this malfunction.

I've got the same issue. I'm getting tired of it, but not as tired as my employees who REALLY dislike having to log in every day, sometimes more often than that. I've tried everything that the support forums suggest, to no avail. Surely someone at HubSpot understands that this is a relentless problem affecting more than one or two people who simply never turned on 2FA? This problem has persisted for years, why is this not fixed already?
