How to exclude personal email tracking

Hi,

Regarding email tracking features.

How do I exclude my personal email from being tracked both from the desktop and mobile app? As this is confusing...

In addition, apart from email openings tracking, how do we also track clicks, links opening, etc.?

Hi @IGeogiadis

You can set an "exclusion list" in HubSpot so your email, or any other emails you specify, or email from a specific domain (e.g. *@hubspot.com) are not logged in the CRM.

So if I encompass our domain in the exclusion list with the goal to not
tracking our email openings, what else will be affected by this?

Hi @IGeogiadis

When you add your company domain name, to the Email exclusions list, none of your internal emails will be logged to the CRM, and you won't see any tracking information e.g. notifications, opens, etc. (so less noise).

Personally, I recommend all our clients add their company domain name to the exclusion list . It's good to avoid anyone reading an internal email that they shouldn't have seen.

IMPORTANT NOTE: there is a personal exclusion list and company wide exclusion list (see here).
