Help text for fields

Hi,

Is it possible to add Help Text icon with text that will explain to users the meaning of the field? In salesforce I know it is possible, it it possible in HubSpot as well? on the record page?

Hi @OBetzalel,

This is unfortunately not possible natively* at this stage. However, other users have requested this before: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Properties-should-have-a-hover-functionality-showing-the/idi-p/335252

The requests submitted to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community are reviewed by the HubSpot product team, based on their popularity and the assumed demand. I'd recommend commenting and upvoting.

You can also help other HubSpot users find this request more easily (and drive traction) by accepting my reply as a solution. I'd appreciate it, too.

Currently, the only similar feature is the property description which you can set in the property settings. When hovering over a property, e.g. a field in the left sidebar of a contact record, click 'Details', the right sidebar will open with the property history – and the description at the top. It's not very visible but it's there.

* Like Lucila has pointed out, Supered is a third-party provider which scratches that itch.

Hey @OBetzalel

This is not possible natively in HubSpot

but there is an app in the Marketplace called Supered that can help you build cards with explanations, videos, links to documents that you can setup along the CRM, in records, pipeline stages...its super cool and useful for CRM adoption and engagement.

I'd suggest that you try it out.
