Hello everyone!

So I am a bit new to HubSpot. To make things a bit easier to understand, I am using Sales Professional.

I was wondering, is there was a way to edit the Hubspot Score to add a point every time a unique sales email is opened?

To give context, I am running sequences of sales emails and I have found that my open rates are generally good, but they are not leading to meetings being booked. The click rate is already accounted for in the HubSpot score, but I would like to include the most engaged who are not clicking inside the email to my next wave of outreach as well.

Thank you for your help!

Hi @MattD127,

This is unfortunately not directly possible, no. HubSpot only maintains the contact property Recent sales email open date: the date of the last time that the contact opened a sales email. This property does not update for emails that were sent to more than one contact.

As a somewhat workaround, you could set up a custom number property that is being increased by 1 whenever that date changes, using a contact-based workflow and the "Increase property value" workflow action, re-enrolling contacts when "Recent sales email open date is known". That would likely not count every single open but at least when the date is updated by HubSpot. You could then use that custom number property for your score.

Best regards!
